World Confederation of Physical Therapy

WCPT is a non-profit organisation comprising 106 member organisations and represent around 350,000 physical therapists. 

The Confederation works to improve global health by encouraging high standards of physical therapy research, education and practice; supporting communication and exchange of information among Regions and WCPT Member Organisations; and collaborating with national and international organisations.

The WCPT member organisation in a country is the first place to gain information about the profession in that country and the WCPT encourage physios working overseas to support the local profession by engaging with/joining the professional organisation in a country.
